- Small red berries particularly juicy, refreshing and very tart in taste
- Seedless
- An irresistible pink colour, bright and radiant
Redcurrants grown in deep soils in France have been selected by Ponthier to produce its frozen redcurrant puree. This proximity between place of harvest and place of production allows for excellent control over when to begin harvest and guarantees small red berries that are particularly juicy, refreshing and very tart in taste. The fruit’s seeds are also meticulously removed during the Ponthier production process to make a puree consisting solely of the fruit’s soft flesh and thus free of all traces of bitterness. Ponthier redcurrant puree also has an irresistible pink colour, bright and radiant, which gives recipes a delicious, dazzling appearance.
