Ponthier has chosen a Mirabelle plum that has been awarded the Protected Geographical Indication label. Ponthier’s partner farmers must respect very strict specifications to receive this label, and must focus all their efforts on the quality of their fruit. This prestigious label guarantees a minimum sugar content, perfect traceability and size below 22mm. Lorraine Mirabelle plums are always picked “perfectly ripe”.
