Orange (Granulated Zests)
Ponthier has selected its oranges from the sunny orchards of Spain, an ideal terroir for citrus fruits thanks to its Mediterranean climate and rich soil. The fruit, bursting with flavour, has a thin, colourful and intensely fragrant peel, perfect for use as zest.
The zest is carefully removed, finely ground and then individually quick-frozen (IQF) to preserve its freshness, natural essential oils and orange colour. This format allows for easy, consistent and precise integration into all preparations without any loss of aroma.
With no added sugar, colourings or preservatives, these orange zests are ideal for sweet or savoury creations: pastries, chocolates, ice creams, sauces, stews or mixology. A ready-to-use, natural and vibrant ingredient to inspire chefs’ creativity.
