Maison Ponthier has carefully selected chestnuts from French, Spanish and Portuguese chestnut groves, regions historically renowned for the quality of their produce. These regions offer ideal natural conditions – forest soils, controlled humidity, traditional harvesting methods – allowing the fruit to develop its full aromatic richness.
Harvested at full maturity, the chestnuts are rigorously sorted, then delicately prepared before being frozen. This process preserves their tender texture, subtle taste and beautiful golden brown colour. Their consistent quality guarantees optimal use in both sweet and savoury dishes.
