Blackcurrant
For its frozen blackcurrants, Maison Ponthier has selected berries from the fertile plains of Poland, a country renowned for its agricultural expertise and the quality of its small fruits. Grown in a temperate climate, the blackcurrants ripen slowly, ensuring optimal concentration of aromas, natural pigments and antioxidants.
Harvested at full ripeness, these powerful-tasting fruits with thin skins and juicy flesh are individually quick-frozen (IQF) immediately after picking. This process guarantees excellent performance in cooking and cold assembly, while preserving the organoleptic qualities of the raw fruit.
Ideal for jams, jellies, desserts, sorbets, sauces or cocktail creations, Ponthier blackcurrants meet the expectations of professionals looking for an expressive, natural fruit with no added sugar or preservatives.
