Lingonberries
Maison Ponthier has selected its lingonberries in Sweden, a country whose vast boreal forests and acidic soils offer ideal conditions for growing this iconic northern berry. Carefully harvested at the peak of ripeness, the lingonberries have a thin skin, firm flesh and a refreshing acidity typical of this intense red fruit.
They are individually quick frozen (IQF) immediately after harvesting to preserve their freshness, crunchy texture and full aromatic richness. Their lively, slightly astringent taste makes them an ingredient of choice for both sweet and savoury creations: jams, chutneys, pastries, sauces and meat dishes, especially game.
A pure fruit, with no additives or added sugar, to inspire the creativity of professionals.
