Maison Ponthier has chosen the Mecker variety, grown in Serbia, for its frozen raspberries larger than 16 mm in size. Renowned for its exceptional organoleptic qualities, the Mecker raspberry captivates with its melt-in-the-mouth flesh, intense aroma and subtle balance between sweetness and acidity.

Grown in the mountainous and hilly areas of Serbia, benefiting from a favourable continental climate, these raspberries are harvested at optimal ripeness and then sorted to select only the finest sizes. Individual quick freezing (IQF) is then carried out to ensure that the fruit retains its shape, bright red colour, delicate texture and natural aroma.

This premium fruit, with no added sugar or preservatives, is ideal for uses where aesthetics and taste are paramount: fine pastries, decorations, inserts, desserts, or cold applications. An exceptional raspberry for the most demanding creations.
