Ponthier has selected its pomegranates from Sicily, an island of volcanic landscapes. This apple-shaped autumn fruit is made up of many small, very juicy, translucent seeds, ruby red in colour. Ponthier pomegranate puree is produced using only the translucent red flesh surrounding the white seeds (which are not kept). This makes for a wonderfully indulgent colour, plus the sweet and tangy taste of the best pomegranate varieties.
