Red Rhubarb Frozen Segments
Maison Ponthier has selected Frambosa red rhubarb, grown in Poland, for its remarkable balance between lively acidity and fruity freshness. This variety, popular with professionals, is distinguished by its pinkish-red flesh, tender texture after cooking, and intense, vegetal flavour.
Harvested at optimal ripeness, the stalks are cut into regular pieces and then quickly frozen (IQF) to preserve their natural colour, structure and taste. This practical format ensures easy and consistent use in sweet or savoury preparations.
100% natural, with no added sugar or preservatives, this product is ideal for making tarts, compotes, jams, chutneys, confectionery or plated desserts. An expressive and authentic rhubarb, ready to enhance the creations of the most demanding professionals.
